Sometimes we are given a chance to try something new. For us, that became reality when in September 2012, we started a new life in Michael's hometown of Bremen, Germany. Michael brushed the 30 year-old rust off his German, our 15 year-old daughter Katharine got tossed head-first into a local German school, and Becky started, at almost 50, to learn a new language.
